Description

The Lew's Mach 1 SLP baitcaster is built around a one-piece lightweight SLP graphite frame and sideplates with three drain ports. Its 8-bearing system uses stainless steel double shielded bearings along with a Zero Reverse one-way clutch, and the high strength solid brass Speed Gear is cut on precision Hamai CNC gear hobbing machines. Braking comes from the externally-adjustable Multi-Setting Brake (MSB) dual cast control system, which combines an external click-dial for the magnetic brake with four individually disengageable disk-mounted internal brake shoes that operate on centrifugal force. The machine forged, double anodized aluminium 32mm deep spool is paired with a double anodized aluminium drag star with audible click, and the Rulon drag system provides up to 15lbs of drag power. A 95mm bowed anodized aluminium handle with Lew's Combat Grip paddles and a double anodized aluminium spool tension cap with audible click complete the build. - Gear ratio: 7.5:1 - Weight: 206.9g - Casting weight: 4 - 60g
