Description

The Lew's Mach Crush SLP is a low-profile baitcaster built around a one-piece lightweight SLP graphite frame with matching sideplates. Its machined, double anodized aluminium U-shape spool measures 32mm, and the reel runs on high strength solid brass Speed Gears cut on precision Hamai CNC machines. A premium 10-bearing system combines double-shielded stainless steel ball bearings with a Zero Reverse one-way clutch bearing. Casting control comes from the Multi-Setting Brake (MSB) dual cast control system, which pairs an external click-dial for the magnetic brake with four individually disengageable disk-mounted internal brake shoes that operate on centrifugal force. Spool tension is adjusted via a double anodized aluminium dial with an audible click, and the drag star is also double anodized aluminium with audible click adjustment. The rugged carbon fibre drag system provides up to 9.1kg of drag power.
