Description

The Lew's Mach 1 SLP is a left-hand baitcaster built around a one-piece lightweight SLP graphite frame and sideplates with three drain ports. Its 8-bearing system uses stainless steel double shielded bearings along with a Zero Reverse one-way clutch, and the high strength solid brass Speed Gear is cut on precision Hamai CNC gear hobbing machines. Casting control comes from the externally-adjustable Multi-Setting Brake (MSB) dual cast control system, which combines an external click-dial for the magnetic brake with four individually disengageable disk-mounted internal brake shoes that operate on centrifugal force. The reel runs a machine forged, double anodized aluminum 32mm deep spool, a double anodized aluminum drag star with audible click, and a durable Rulon drag system providing up to 15lbs of drag power.
