Description

The Lew's Super Duty GX3 is a right-hand baitcast reel built around a strong, lightweight graphite frame and sideplates. Its 5-bearing system uses stainless steel double shielded ball bearings along with a Zero Reverse one-way clutch bearing, and the P2 Super Pinion bearing-supported pinion gear keeps precise alignment and solid stability for smoother operation and longer gear life. The ZRXtra system pairs Zero Reverse with a backup multi-stop gear, while the Positive on/off Smart Plus Six Pin Centrifugal Braking System (CBS) lets you adjust braking control. The braid-ready, forged, anodized aluminium spool is deep capacity, and the high strength solid brass Speed Gears are cut on precision Hamai CNC gear hobbing machines. Spool tension is set with an anodized aluminium adjustment dial that has an audible click, and the rugged carbon fibre drag system provides up to 24lbs of drag power. An oversized graphite star drag with an audible click, a bowed heavy duty 100mm aluminium reel handle with Combat Grip paddle knobs, and a Combat Grip thumb bar complete the build.
