Description

The Lew's Mach Crush SLP is a low-profile baitcasting reel built around a one-piece lightweight SLP graphite frame and sideplates. Its machined and double anodized aluminium U-shape 32mm spool is paired with high strength solid brass Speed Gears, cut on precision Hamai CNC machines, and the reel runs on a premium 10-bearing system with double-shielded stainless steel ball bearings and a Zero Reverse one-way clutch bearing. Casting control comes from the Multi-Setting Brake (MSB) dual cast control system, which combines an external click-dial for the magnetic brake with 4 individually disengageable disk-mounted internal brake shoes that operate on centrifugal force. Spool tension is set by a double anodized aluminium adjustment with an audible click, and the quick release sideplate lock lever gives access to the spool. The rugged carbon fibre drag system provides up to 9.1kg of drag power, adjusted via a double anodized aluminium bowed drag star with audible click.
