Description

The Lew's BB1 Pro Series Speed Spool is a baitcasting reel built around a one-piece aluminium frame with graphite sideplates. Its braid-ready, machine-forged, double-anodized aluminium U-shape spool measures 35mm and offers a large line capacity. The reel runs a premium 10-bearing system using double-shielded ball bearings and Zero Reverse anti-reverse. Its high-strength solid brass Speed Gears are cut on precision Hamai CNC gear hobbing machines. Cast control comes from an externally adjustable 6-pin, 27-position QuietCast Adjustable Centrifugal Braking system (ACB), and a patented double-anodized aluminium spool tension knob carries the Speed Dial line indicator. A carbon fibre drag with a line-out drag alarm produces a maximum drag of 20lbs, with an audible click aluminium star control. The upgraded bowed 95mm anodized skeletal aluminium handle is fitted with Lew's custom round EVA power grips.
