Abu Garcia Ambassadeur C3 6500 Line Counter Reel

Description

The Abu Garcia Ambassadeur C3 6500 Line Counter Reel is the 6500 size in the Ambassadeur C3 line counter range, built for the heaviest feeders, leads and big-bait lure applications. That makes it a choice for big-water specimen fishing and serious big-bait predator work where line capacity and cranking power both matter. The compact, palm-sized reel features Abu Garcia's synchronized levelwind system and a smooth, reliable Carbon Matrix drag system. It runs on three shielded stainless steel ball bearings plus a corrosion-resistant instant anti-reverse bearing, which together deliver solid hook sets. The mechanical line counter measures line in feet as it pulls out, giving accuracy when trolling or downrigging. - 3 stainless steel ball bearings + 1 roller bearing - Mechanical line counter (counts in feet) - Line out alarm - Carbon Matrix drag system - One piece reel foot - Compact bent handle and star (5500 size) - Extended bent handle with power knob (6500 size) Matching reel size to your rod and technique changes how balanced and enjoyable the whole outfit feels. This model is sized specifically for big-water specimen fishing and serious big-bait predator work rather than being a compromise pulled from a generic size run. It balances properly with rods built around the heaviest feeders, leads and big-bait lure applications, and carries the line capacity typically expected for that style of fishing. The core technology, materials and features are shared across the Ambassadeur C3 line counter range; what differs by size is the capacity, and therefore the technique and target fish each reel is best matched to.
