Description

The Penn 525 Mag2 multiplier reel is built around a lightweight graphite frame with aluminium sideplates, keeping weight down without sacrificing rigidity. A forged and machined aluminium spool runs on a live spindle with a free floating spool design, while the patented adjustable magnetic braking system lets you tune casting control to suit conditions and technique. Inside, a high strength marine grade bronze main gear pairs with a stainless steel pinion gear, backed by six stainless steel shielded ball bearings and an instant anti-reverse bearing. The patented versa-drag system uses HT-100 washers for a super smooth drag under heavy load. - Lightweight graphite frame and aluminium sideplates - Forged and machined aluminium spool - High strength marine grade bronze main gear - Stainless steel pinion gear - Live spindle with free floating spool - Patented versa-drag system with HT-100 washers - 6 stainless steel shielded ball bearings - Instant anti-reverse bearing - HT-100 powered drag system (super smooth drag under heavy load) - Patented adjustable magnetic braking system - Ratio: 6:1
