Shimano Curado K Baitcast Reel

Description

The Shimano Curado 200 K is the successor to the Curado 200 I. It adds a Micromodule Gear system and a Stable Spool design, which together give a more efficient gear train and a smoother, more positive feel. A CI4+ body combined with an aluminium frame keeps the reel tough but still lightweight. The SVS Infinity braking system controls spool speed for precise casting and makes it possible to cast lighter lures when fishing for bass. The reel is built for freshwater predator fishing but can also withstand tough saltwater conditions thanks to its shielded bearings. It is available in three gear ratios across left and right hand models: 6.2:1 for the most power when fishing big lures with a lot of water resistance, 7.4:1 for a balance between speed and power, and 8.5:1 for speed-led techniques such as softbaits, jerkbaits and topwater lures. The Curado is a true allrounder that will also cast bigger, heavier lures and fight big fish. Its 200 size suits pike and big black bass fishing with medium sized lures such as jerkbaits, swimbaits, spinnerbaits and softbaits. - 300 size is the largest Curado model available and has been developed to handle the biggest freshwater fish - Lightweight aluminium HAGANE Body for strength - X-SHIP gearing for efficient power transfer - VBS braking system for precise casting control - Powerful Cross Carbon Drag to control large fish - Level wind for trouble free line lay - S3D Spool for ultra light rotation and reduced vibration
