Developed and tested by Kevin VanDam, the Lew's KVD LFS Casting Reel is built to handle extreme use and deliver tour-level performance. Its one-piece aluminium frame with graphite side plates gives it rugged durability, while high strength solid brass Speed Gears and a P2 Super Pinion bearing-supported pinion gear provide precise alignment for smoother operation and extended gear life. A dual cast control system combines an external click-dial magnetic brake with four individually disk-mounted internal centrifugal brakes, letting anglers make finite adjustments for superior casting distance. The premium 10 bearing system — nine stainless steel double shielded bearings and one Zero Reverse one-way clutch bearing — keeps casting and reeling smooth.
