Description

The Lew's BB1 Pro Series Speed Spool left-hand baitcaster is built around a one-piece aluminium frame with graphite sideplates. Its braid-ready, machine-forged, double-anodized aluminium U-shape spool is a large-capacity 35mm design. The reel runs a premium 10-bearing system with double-shielded ball bearings and Zero Reverse anti-reverse. Its high-strength solid brass Speed Gears are cut on precision Hamai CNC gear hobbing machines. Braking comes from an externally adjustable 6-pin, 27-position QuietCast Adjustable Centrifugal Braking system (ACB), and a quick-release sideplate mechanism gives easy access to the brake system. There is also an external lube port. A patented double-anodized aluminium spool tension knob with Speed Dial line indicator sits on the frame. The carbon fibre drag with line-out drag alarm produces 20lbs of max drag through an audible click aluminium star control. The upgraded bowed 95mm anodized skeletal aluminium reel handle carries Lew's custom round EVA power grips.
