Description

The Lew's Speed Spool LFS baitcast reel is built around a one-piece aluminium frame with an easily removable graphite palming sideplate. Its 34mm spool is drilled, machine forged and anodised aluminium, and the reel runs on high strength solid brass Speed Gears cut on precision Hamai CNC machines. The P2 Super Pinion bearing-supported pinion gear keeps precise alignment and solid stability, which gives smoother operation and extended gear life. A premium 10-bearing system uses stainless steel double shielded bearings along with the Zero Reverse one-way clutch. Casting control comes from the externally adjustable Magnetic Control System (MCS), and spool tension is set with an anodised aluminium adjustment knob. The durable Rulon drag system provides up to 15lbs of drag power, adjusted by an oversized bowed audible click graphite drag star.
