The Saltiga LD series has been completely redesigned, and this model centres on a one-piece machined aluminium frame and side plate that keep bearings and gears precisely aligned. Inside, oversized stainless steel main and pinion gears are super-hard, polished and meshed to work together, driving the gear with extra strength and near-silent precision. Large spool bearings reduce side load, so you can concentrate on fighting the fish rather than the reel. The acclaimed ATD Drag keeps the reel cool during the heat of battle while delivering consistent maximum pressure through the end game.
