Avet HXW 5/2 2-Speed Reel

Description

The Avet HXW 5/2 is a two-speed multiplier reel built for serious saltwater fishing. It is precision machined from 6061 T-6 marine grade aluminium and stainless steel components, then anodised for corrosion resistance and a durable finish. The frame is CNC machined from a single block of alloy, giving a true one-piece structure that balances strength against weight. The lever drag system has an adjustable strike pre-set, putting full control of the carbon fibre drag at your fingertips, while sealed bearings and the patented silent dog and gear anti-reverse keep the reel working reliably under load. The machined offset handle arm reduces centreline drag and crank wobble. The reel has reversible stainless steel harness lugs that store inside the reel when not in use, and it comes with a soft touch handle knob and a matching machined aluminium rod clamp.
