The Avet LX Raptor 6/3 is the top model in the LX range, precision machined from 6061 T-6 marine grade aluminium and stainless steel components and anodised for corrosion resistance and a durable finish. Its adjustable lever drag controls a dual direct drive full surface caliper brake system, delivering twice the drag pressure of standard Avet reels, while the patented dog and gear anti-reverse system and eight sealed bearings keep the reel running smoothly under load. The offset machined handle reduces the centreline profile and houses the push button control for the two-speed gear shift. Deleting the Magic Cast allows the spool to spin faster, allowing your jig to get down to the strike zone quicker and more efficiently. A No Magic Cast version is available if you want the reel for jigging.
