Avet HX 5/2 Two-Speed Reel

Description

The Avet HX 5/2 is a two-speed multiplier reel built for serious saltwater work. Its frame is CNC machined from a single block of 6061 T-6 marine grade aluminium, giving a true one-piece structure that is both light and strong, with stainless steel components throughout and an anodised finish for corrosion resistance. The lever drag system has an adjustable strike pre-set, letting you tune the carbon fibre drag to the fight, while sealed bearings and a patented silent dog and gear anti-reverse keep everything running smoothly under load. The machined offset handle arm reduces centreline profile and cranking wobble, and the reel is finished with a soft touch handle knob and a matching machined aluminium rod clamp. Reversible stainless steel harness lugs can be stored inside the reel when not in use.
