The Century Excalibur C-Curve is a 13ft 10in two-piece rod with equal-length sections, built for mixed to hard conditions. Its battle curve and casting action describe a more progressive arc, suiting anglers dealing with tidal streams, boulders and weed who want to deliver a large bait package. The action works with all casting styles and particularly favours an off-the-ground or pendulum cast, where timing and power flow can be felt throughout the cast. Anglers with the skills to access the energy storage in the lower tip and upper butt will see terminal tackle sail away, and those who can fully access the power bands in the Gearbox Design butt will achieve the longest distances.
