Alutecnos Albacore Single Speed Reel

Description

The Alutecnos Albacore is a single speed trolling reel built from a design and manufacturing process developed collaboratively by the staff at Alutecnos, with the aim of improving both the technological content and the design. The result is a reel that combines aesthetic and technical quality with close attention to detail, including an infinite anti-reverse system used here in a trolling reel for the first time. The reel features a frontal cam and a lock release button that places the automatically re-arming gear lever into "free" or "full" mode. Five bearings and tempered stainless steel gears add further resistance to corrosion. The system for anchoring the reel to the rod is robust and reliable, using four anchor screws. The drag washer is made from a carbon composite and is protected to ensure smooth, consistent performance during intense fights, with stick-slip virtually eliminated. All aluminium parts are buffed, ultrasonically cleaned, polished and anodized to their respective colour finish. All parts are machined from bar stock alloy using CNC processes and are subject to rigorous dimensional specification control checks. They are also available in left hand and can be laser etched with a name, a boat name or other text that will fit.
