The Penn Squadron IV Light Pilk spinning rod is built for working pilks and softbaits, with a blank action designed for that style of fishing. The 24T carbon blank keeps weight down while providing the power in the lower section needed to stop big fish, making it suitable for species such as cod, pollock, coalfish, conger and halibut. The rod is finished with ergonomically shaped high-density EVA handles and Penn Dura-Guide one-piece guides. The stainless steel guides are tough and resilient, suit all line types, and offer protection against knocks and wear.
