Skeater Realist 5K Reel

Description

The Skeater Realist 5K is a spinning reel built for medium to large fish. Designed with perch and zander in mind, it also suits pike fishing and balances well with stalking rods. The reel uses a robust S-curve oscillation retrieve system, which cross-winds the line onto the spool as you retrieve and prevents the line from bedding in under drag pressure. The result is line that comes off the spool freely and easily on the cast, helping you achieve longer and more accurate casts. The nylon-reinforced body houses a stainless steel main shaft, 5+1 ball bearings and a one-way clutch system for improved overall performance and stability. A single aluminium handle with a T-shaped rubber grip makes for easy retrieving and gives you control when playing fish. - Ideal for targeting medium to large freshwater predators such as perch, zander and pike - Perfectly balanced to pair with stalking and medium-power spinning rods - Line capacity 0.30mm/350m - Gear ratio 5.1:1 - Retrieve 96cm per handle turn - Drag power 11kg/24.2lb - Robust S-curve oscillation system ensures smooth cross-winding for optimal line lay - Prevents line bedding under drag pressure for longer, more accurate casts - Nylon-reinforced body for strength, durability and lightweight handling - Equipped with 5+1 stainless steel ball bearings for smooth operation and enhanced reel life - One-way clutch system offers instant anti-reverse and improved hook-setting power - Stainless steel main shaft for enhanced reel life - Precision-machined aluminium handle with a comfortable T-shaped rubber grip - Excellent balance of value, build quality, drag performance and line capacity - Built for reliable performance across a wide range of freshwater fishing applications
