Description

The Akios Airsport 420 CBR is a two-piece, 14ft long-distance shore rod built on a high-modulus 40-ton carbon blank. It is designed for casting both large and delicate baits over long distances while retaining strong bite detection, aided by a solid hybrid tip that registers shy bites and cushions fragile baits during the cast. Developed over four years of testing and refinement with anglers across the UK, Ireland, and Europe, the rod combines high-performance action with quality fittings throughout. Fittings include a Fuji sliding reel seat with protective EVA collars, gun-smoke Fuji KWAG anti-tangle guides, and aluminium-reinforced joint collars with Japanese shrink tubing on either side of the joints to ease dismantling.
