Description

The Akios Kyori ST405 TT SRS is a 13'6" beach rod from the Kyori range, built around a high-modulus 30T carbon blank that delivers power through the butt and mid-sections. It is designed for fishing over clean and mixed ground, and suits a range of casting styles from simple overhead techniques to more advanced methods such as the off-the-ground cast. The rod is compatible with both fixed spool and multiplier reels, and can handle monofilament or braided mainlines. Every rod in the Kyori range comes with two tips: a sensitive hybrid tip and a carbon power tip. The hybrid tip provides strong bite detection even at long range and cushions delicate worm baits during the cast, while the power tip is better suited to casting larger baits and fishing in more demanding sea conditions. The rod also features a raw carbon wrap butt section, anti-tangle Gunsmoke SeaGuide guides, a SeaGuide sliding screw lock reel seat, EVA reel seat collars to prevent particle ingress, Japanese shrink wrap joints for easy section separation, metal band reinforced joints for added strength, and a Japanese shrink rubber butt section.
