Description
The Daiwa Tournament X45 Spod Rod sits at the top of Daiwa's dedicated spod and marker range. Built in the UK, it uses the brand's best design and material technology. The rod underwent extensive testing over two years with different test curves to find the optimum performance for casting a fully loaded spod, with the results pointing to a 5lb test curve as the sweet spot for long-range spodding. Alongside the standard 12ft model, Daiwa has produced a dedicated 13ft version for the first time in the UK, designed to be used in conjunction with the Basiair, Basia, and Infinity carp rods. The Tournament Spod X45 features: - X45 technology - HVF - V joint Alpha - Fuji DPS reel seat, which allows for easy cleaning after spodding - Light weight Seaguide TDG guides - Abbreviated shrink handle
