OMC Black Pearl Spod & Marker Rod

Description

The OMC Black Pearl Spod and Marker Rod is part of One More Cast's first carp rod range, the Black Pearl series, which was developed over four years. This specific model is built for accurate feature finding and heavy spodding, with a 5lb test curve that effortlessly casts any spod size to 130 yards. The tip stiffness helps identify lakebed details cleanly, and the rod is balanced for repeated casting without arm fatigue. The 13ft version offers ferocious power for extreme distances while remaining smooth to use, with balance that reduces fatigue over long baiting sessions. Both Spod and Marker models feature 20mm SeaGuide tip eyes to reduce frap-ups and wind knots when using fine braid with shock leaders. The rod uses a premium blend of high-performance carbons finished in a 3K wrap, delivering exceptional power and control. It is fitted with SIC Sea-Guides for smooth casting and maximum line protection, and features a custom branded reel seat for rock-solid reel security. The handle is a performance Japanese shrink-wrap design, with subtle pearlescent OMC Black Pearl branding that shifts colour in sunlight. An etched butt cap and minimalist detailing complete the build. - Premium Blended Carbon Blanks – including 3k wrap. - SIC Sea-Guides – Smooth casting, maximum line protection. - Optimised Guide Sizes – 16mm tip (Carp), 20mm tip (Spod), 50mm butt guides. - Custom Branded Reel Seats – Rock-solid reel security. - Custom Cork/EVA Handles – on the Carp rods. - Performance Japanese Shrink-Wrap Handles – on the Spod and Marker rods. - Subtle OMC Black Pearl Branding – Understated, pearlescent. - Etched Butt Cap and Minimalist Detailing – Every inch considered.
