Daiwa Black Widow Plus Spod & Marker

Description

The Daiwa Black Widow Plus 10ft Spod and Marker is part of a rod range that Daiwa describes as its lightest yet, combining innovative blank design with a progressive action. This setup is intended to deliver strong casting performance while offering a forgiving, fish-playing action that remains enjoyable during the fight. Lightweight skeletal guides are said to enhance both rod weight and tip speed. The 10ft models are suited to smaller venues, shorter casting ranges, and situations where boat work is required. The 10ft 4.5lb Spod and Marker version offers a meaty but still light action, with well-considered guide positioning and 12-inch and 24-inch markers on the blank. The rod features a shrink tube grip handle, a secure lock-up reel seat, a matt blank finish, a machined aluminium butt cap, and subtle red strands within the thread wrapping. - Innovative blank design - Progressive power action - Lightweight skeletal guides - 12” and 24” markers on spod rods - Shrink tube grip handle - Secure lock up reel seat - Matt blank finish - Machined aluminium butt cap - Subtle red thread placement
