Westin W2 Bass Bundle

Description

The Westin W2 Bass Bundle brings together a sea bass rod, a spinning reel, a spool of braided line and a tackle box of softbaits and hooks, giving you a ready-to-fish setup for saltwater lure angling from shore or boat. The W2 SeaBass rod is a 9ft 6in, 12-42g model with a super-fast action, designed for long casts and efficient hook-setting. The high-quality carbon fibre blank gives the sensitivity to feel every movement of the lure and any contact with a fish or cover, while the responsive blank keeps casts smooth and accurate in calm water or rough surf. The rod is corrosion-resistant for durability in saltwater, and the series is available in various lengths and actions to suit different fishing styles. - Reel Seat: Seaguide XVS - Guides: Seaguide SXOHLSG premium Guides - Blank: 24 / 30 tonne High Performance Carbon - Split-handle with premium grade EVA - Custom made rubber non-slip bottom cap - Hook keeper: Seaguide Dhook The Westin W2 spinning reel pairs a feather-light yet rigid carbon body and rotor with a precision five-bearing system for smooth, effortless retrieves. The reduced weight limits fatigue over long sessions and improves sensitivity, while the instant anti-reverse engages immediately for solid hooksets with no back-play. The carbon drag system delivers smooth, consistent pressure, from delicate finesse for light lines to the stopping power needed to turn a hard-fighting predator. The machined aluminium spool is built for optimal line management and casting, and the aluminium handle gives a secure, comfortable grip. The reel is available in sizes from 1000 to 5000, covering ultra-light finesse through to heavier lure work. - 5+1 Stainless steel ball bearings - Carbon body and rotor - CNC brass pinion gear and zinc drive gear - Carbon dragwashers - IPX5 rating - Single anodized spool - Stainless steel mainshaft - All water The W3 Smokey Grey braided line is an allround 8X braid developed for seatrout and saltwater anglers. It is constructed from premium Japanese Ultra High Molecular Polyethylene (UHMPE) fibres with 32 weaves per inch, producing a round profile with a super-smooth surface, maximum strength and increased abrasion resistance. A Double Dura-Coating gives the line extra stiffness and rigidity to reduce wind knots when casting repeatedly into onshore winds, along with excellent water repellence, a smoother surface and lower friction for longer, more accurate casting. The line is soaked in dye tanks and oven cured to bake in the pigment, then sealed with a double gel-coat for excellent colour retention and longevity. - Designed as an allround 8X braided line for fishing - Premium Japanese UHMPE fibers - Round profile for better performance - Construction of 32 weaves per inch - Excellent colour retention - Double Dura-Coating technology ensures a rigid and stiff line for less wind knots, with excellent water repellence, a smoother surface, and lower friction, for longer, more accurate casting The Westin Seabass Box Casting is a tackle box packed with a combination of softbaits, matching hooks, jigheads, weights and terminal tackle, built around original Westin baits and accessories to cover popular fishing techniques.
