Sonik HEROX Rod & Reel Combo 10ft 3.5lb

Description

The Sonik HEROX Rod and Reel Combo pairs a 10ft 3.5lb HEROX carp rod with the HEROX 8000 carp reel, aimed at carp and specialist anglers fishing smaller carp lakes. The HEROX 8000 is a large-capacity reel built on a lightweight graphite body and rotor, with a floating rotor line guard to help prevent tangles. Its wormshaft transmission and Heli Coil gearing give an ultra-flat line bed for smooth casting and even line lay. The spool carries two high-impact, E-Z entry spring-loaded captive line clips for accuracy when casting at distance, and the oversized twist-free line roller helps keep line flow clean. A Quick-Torque drag system gives smooth control when playing big fish. The reel has a matt black finish, a black CNC anodised aluminium handle with a dark wood barrel, 5 + 1 ball bearings and a 4.6:1 gear ratio. The 10ft HEROX rod is built on a slim, lightweight carbon blank with a progressive casting action, giving multi-range performance with enough backbone to cope with large PVA bags or method feeders and big carp or catfish. Fast tip recovery helps cushion long runs and reduce hook pulls at the landing net. The rod is fitted throughout with super light M-Series DL black guides and a 17mm black DPD reel seat that will house even the largest big pit reels. Finishing details include discrete HEROX green tipping, a slim Japanese shrink wrap butt grip with handle flare, and a black anodised butt cap laser etched with the Sonik S logo. A line-friendly custom contoured Sonik clip lets you keep the correct line angle to your bite alarm whether fishing tight lines at distance or slack lines in the margin. This 10ft model has a 3.5lb test curve and 40mm butt rings.
