Description

The Penn Spinfisher V SSV 10500 is a saltwater spinning reel built around a full metal body, with an all-metal frame, rotor and sideplates that keep precise gear alignment under heavy loads. A brass pinion gear and zink/aluminium main gear drive the reel, supported by a stainless steel main shaft with 3 point support. The water tight design seals the gear box and drag system to keep saltwater out. The Slammer Drag System offers an extreme range with endless adjustments and a large diameter drag knob so you can crank down to maximum drag, while sealed HT-100 drag washers provide smooth drag under heavy loads. Infinite anti-reverse eliminates back play on the rotor. The Leveline system delivers perfect oscillation for extremely even line lay, and the Superline Spool needs no backing because the rubber gasket keeps all superlines from slipping.
