The narrower spool makes line lay easier and reduces crank wobble, which suits high-speed retrieving applications such as jigging. Its Magic Cast control is an adjustable magnetic anti-backlash system that works with both light and heavy leads and lures: place your thumb on the spool to cast, remove it and let the lure fly, then thumb the spool again as the lure hits the water. The reel is precision machined from 6061 T-6 marine grade aluminium and stainless steel components, and anodised for corrosion resistance and a durable finish. The frame is CNC machined from a single block of alloy to create a true one-piece structure that is both lightweight and strong.
