The Okuma Tesoro Long Cast Reel is a heavy-duty spinning reel built for demanding saltwater fishing. The reel is built with a full Alumilite aluminium body, sideplate and rotor. This construction is stronger and more rigid than traditional graphite or magnesium, keeping the internal components, particularly the gears, in alignment under extreme pressure for maximum cranking power and durability. A full IPX7 waterproof rating means the body is sealed against water ingress and can withstand submersion in 1 metre of water for up to 30 minutes. The Carbonite high-output Dual Force Drag system applies pressure to both the top and bottom of the spool, maximising drag output and producing a smooth, consistent drag curve.
