Description

The Shimano Speedmaster 14000 XSD is a long range surfcasting reel built around gearing and long cast technology taken directly from Shimano's class-leading models. Its silver body and blue spool are designed to sit well with Shimano long range surfcasting rods, and it packs a high level of casting performance into a relatively affordable reel. The Speedmaster XSD is aimed at anglers who need to reach fish feeding at distance. It offers proven long range casting performance to help launch leads further, a quick line retrieve, and efficient gearing that performs well when matched with surfcasting rods. It inherits many of the features used on Shimano's leading long range reels: - Super Slow 5 line oscillation - G Free Body - Parallel Body - Rigid Cast - Cold forged aluminium AR-C spool - Spool reducers for more cost-efficient spooling, particularly with thinner mono or braided lines - HAGANE Gear and SILENT DRIVE technology for optimised winding efficiency - Instant Drag for fast adjustment of drag tension
