Description

The Avet SX 6/4 G2 Magic Cast is a two-speed multiplier reel that combines Avet's Magic Cast and Two Speed upgrade options in a single package. Magic Cast is an adjustable magnetic anti-backlash system that works with both light and heavy leads and lures. Place your thumb on the spool to cast, remove it and let the lure fly, then thumb the spool again as the lure hits the water. The two-speed retrieve gives you the best of both worlds: a high-speed ratio for rapid line recovery and keeping up with a fish running towards you, and a low ratio for playing powerful fish. The reel is precision machined from 6061 T-6 marine grade aluminium and stainless steel components, and anodised for corrosion resistance and a durable finish. The frame is CNC machined from a single block of alloy, giving a true one-piece structure that is lightweight and strong. The lever drag has an adjustable strike pre-set for full control of the carbon fibre drag system, while eight sealed bearings and the patented silent dog and gear anti-reverse keep the reel performing under load. The machined offset handle reduces centreline drag and crank wobble, and the handle knob has a soft touch finish.
