Sakura SK-SR Spinning Reel

Description

The Sakura SK-SR Spinning Reel is a lightweight, easy-to-use reel built for anglers who want a simple, effective setup for lure fishing. Smooth in operation and comfortable to handle, it suits beginners, occasional anglers, or anyone after a dependable reel at an affordable price. The SK-SR 2005FD comes pre-spooled with approximately 18lb 4-strand 100% Dyneema braided line, so it is ready to fish straight out of the box. The pre-spooled design removes the need to add line yourself, making it a practical, hassle-free option. The 2005 size is well suited to light tackle fishing in both freshwater and light saltwater. Its balanced size and smooth performance make it a good match for finesse techniques while keeping control comfortable during long sessions. The reel is built with a graphite frame and rotor, keeping it lightweight while providing durability and balance. A perforated aluminium spool helps reduce overall weight and supports efficient line management during casting and retrieval. Inside, a 4+1 stainless steel ball bearing system is paired with infinite anti-reverse for smooth retrieves and immediate hook-setting response. An anti-twist line roller helps minimise line problems, and a reinforced bail arm adds reliability during regular use. An ambidextrous aluminium handle allows switching between left- and right-hand operation, and an ergo-grip rubber handle knob provides a secure hold during repeated casting and retrieves. Compact, reliable, and easy to use, the Sakura SK-SR Spinning Reel offers smooth performance for anglers fishing light tackle and modern lure techniques.
