Shimano Nexave FI Spinning Reel

Description

The Shimano Nexave FI is a spinning reel that combines a low price point with modern black and blue graphics, making it a suitable choice as a starter or improver reel across a wide range of fishing. It also matches the Nexave lure rod range, forming a coordinated combo for anglers looking for value. Despite its affordable price, the Nexave is designed to perform. Whether you are new to fishing or want a cost effective second reel, the range covers everything from the super small 1000 size up to the powerful 5000 size, and each model delivers the smoothness associated with Shimano reels. The G-Free Body uses the same design found on much higher priced Shimano reels. It places the internal workings higher in the body, moving the centre of gravity closer to the rod, which results in better balance and less fatigue during long sessions. The 3 Shielded Stainless Steel ball bearings, plus an additional roller bearing, keep the reel running smoothly even under pressure, and the drag is easily adjustable and can comfortably deal with larger than expected fish. The AR-C spool makes the Nexave suitable for both mono and braided line. Its specially designed angled spool lip allows line to leave the spool in smaller coils with less friction, helping produce longer and more accurate casts. Whether you are new to fishing or chasing your next PB, the Nexave range is an affordable option.
