MAP Generation Pro Float Rod

Description

New for 2025, the MAP Generation Pro rod range offers outstanding quality for the money. Built using 30T carbon, the blanks are slimmer and lighter than before, improving the overall performance and action across the range. The Generation Pro series consists of six rods, mixing feeder and float models to cover a wide variety of fishing situations. The 30T carbon construction delivers a balance between the overall rod action and an incredible through action that helps eliminate fish hooking at the net, while the faster taper in the lower section of the blank still allows accurate casting over distance with feeders. The feeder rods in the range are supplied with three quiver tips, sized according to the model, each designed to work perfectly with its rod to improve performance and eliminate flat spots where the tip meets the carrier section. Each feeder rod is versatile enough for a wide range of venues, from commercial carp fishing to river fishing. Generation Pro 10ft Float This is a favourite amongst MAP's consultants and is ideal for pellet waggler fishing when targeting F1s or carp up to double figures. Its through, anti-lock action is well suited to dealing with big fish under the rod tip. The length makes it perfect for short to medium range float fishing, and also makes it an ideal small river rod when targeting species like chub. Two-piece blank. Generation Pro 11ft Float Longer in length, this model is suited to medium to long ranges and is ideal for pellet waggler fishing when targeting F1s or carp up to double figures. Its through, anti-lock action is well suited to dealing with big fish under the rod tip. The length makes it perfect for running a stick or waggler down the river. Two-piece blank.
