Drennan Acolyte Carp Waggler Rod 11ft

Description

The Drennan Acolyte Carp Waggler Rod 11ft is an exquisite two-piece waggler rod purpose-designed for today's modern commercial fisheries. It is a great choice for short to medium range work with wagglers and pellet wagglers up to around 10g. The short 11ft length is more convenient for repeatedly casting out shallow float setups, and it offers exceptional control when playing fish close in to speed up the netting process. A shorter setup can also be a big asset in tight swims. The super-slim blank weighs just 4 1/2oz (128g) and is matched perfectly to reel lines from 4lb to 6lb+ (1.8kg to 3kg+). It has enough backbone to accurately punch out a waggler and is crisp enough to quickly pick up line on the strike. Crucially, it also has a progressive playing action that deals with quality fish and soaks up every lunge. The two-piece construction means it can be left made up in a rod sleeve and conveniently assembled or packed away in seconds. Features: - Average rod weight of 4.5oz (128g) - High modulus carbon blank - Two sections - Ultra-slim - Lightweight and perfectly balanced - Ideal for short to medium range work - Crisp and responsive blank - Suitable for reel lines from 4lb to 6lb+ - Parabolic playing action - Full cork handle - Engraved butt cap - Fuji reel seat
