Akios Krave KX8 Fixed Spool Reel

Description

The Akios Krave KX8 is a fixed spool reel built for shore angling in saltwater conditions. Its high-strength carbon composite body and rotor are designed to stand up to harsh coastal environments, while a hollow bail arm reduces weight without sacrificing performance. A 32lb (15kg) maximum drag provides the stopping power needed for hard-fighting species, and the bearing system — 5 stainless steel ball bearings plus an Instant Anti-Reverse (IAR) bearing — delivers smooth, controlled retrieval under pressure. Two long-cast spools are supplied, letting you adapt the reel to different venues and target species. The deep spool suits monofilament, while the shallow spool is intended for braid. The KX8 pairs with the Akios Krave KX420 and KX390 shore rods. - High strength carbon composite body and rotor - 5+1 stainless steel bearings - Instant Anti-Reverse bearing - 2 x spools: 1 x deep graphite spool, 1 x shallow aluminium spool - Strong drag: 32lb / 15kg - Slow oscillation for superior line lay - 4.1:1 gear ratio - Machined aluminium handle with power grip - Capacity, deep graphite spool: 400yds / 15lb / 0.32mm - Capacity, shallow aluminium spool: 210yds / 12lb / 0.32mm - Gear ratio: 4.1:1 - Bearings: 5+1 - Maximum drag: 32lb - Weight: 675g
