Shimano Aero C Reel

Description

The Shimano Aero C is a front drag reel that sits in the middle of the Aero Match range, aimed at float and feeder anglers who want versatile performance. It features an anti-reverse facility and Shimano's leading gear assembly, with sleek, understated graphics that match the Aero rod ranges. For the competition angler fishing float or feeder, the Aero offers a high-quality option with class-leading value. It is available in three sizes — C3000, 4000 and C5000 — so you can choose depending on your requirements and the size of rod you are using. The super smooth waterproof drag and additional anti-reverse facility let you play fish directly off the drag with stronger lines, back-wind when using fine lines, or use a combination of both. Inside the understated XT-7 G Free body is Shimano's top-rated Hagane Gear and X-Ship system, enhanced by Silent Drive. This combination is known for powerful performance and long-lasting reliability, helping the reel maintain peak performance even when fishing with large feeders or landing big weights of match-sized carp. Other notable features include the super smooth waterproof front drag, an AR-C Spool crafted from Cold Forged Aluminium for improved casting, and a handle that screws straight into the main gear for play-free directness. Each model comes with a line reducer to reduce spool capacity, making all models suitable for both mono and braided lines, plus a round metal line clip for accurate casting. - Anti-reverse facility - Shimano leading gear assembly - XT-7 G Free body - Hagane Gear - X-Ship system - Silent Drive - Super smooth waterproof front drag - AR-C Spool crafted from Cold Forged Aluminium - Handle screws directly into the main gear for play-free directness - Line reducer to reduce spool capacity - Round metal line clip - Available in three sizes: C3000, 4000, C5000
