The C14+ main body is a carbon fibre-reinforced graphite material offering a strong weight-to-strength ratio, while the G-Free body design positions the centre of gravity as close to the rod as possible for improved balance. The reels feature Hagane gearing and an X-ship drive gear, and are currently the most affordable way to access Shimano's Magnumlite rotor, which provides a 14% weight reduction and sharper balance.
