Akios Airlyte 355 Light Specialist Rod

Description

The Akios Airlyte 355 Light Specialist is a 2 piece rod designed for light surf and estuary work, offering a crisp, responsive action that suits scaled-down leads and baits. Weighing just 390 grams, it is comfortable to hold through a full session, whether bass fishing in the surf, touch ledgering with peeler crab close in among weed beds, or working worm baits for flounder and bass on a flooding tide. It also handles rolling leads across sandbanks for plaice, and its versatility extends to close-in match fishing, live baiting, float fishing, feathering, and use by juniors starting out. The 11.5ft/3.5m high modulus unground carbon blank with a hybrid tip gives a crisp action that casts up to 4oz of lead plus bait with ease, while the butt and mid-section provide backbone that transitions to a sensitive tip for clear bite detection. A graphite sliding reel seat with EVA collars lets you position either a fixed spool or light multiplier exactly where needed. - 2 Piece High Modulus Unground Carbon Blank - Carbon Weave Trim on Butt Section - Hybrid Tip for Superior Bite Registration - Quality SeaGuide Guides - Graphite Sliding Reel Seat with EVA Collars - Rubber Butt Cap - Japanese Shrink Rubber Butt Section - Metal Band Reinforced Joints for Additional Strength - Supplied with Cloth Rod Bag - Rod Length: 3.55m / 11.5ft - Butt Diameter: 19mm - Overall Weight: 390gms - Casting Weight: 2-4oz/50-140g
