Guru N-Gauge Specimen Barbel 12 2.25lb Fishing Rod

Description

The Guru N-Gauge Specimen Barbel 12 2.25lb Fishing Rod is engineered for targeting barbel in demanding river conditions. This 12-foot (3.66 m) rod features a 2.25lb test curve, providing the necessary power for challenging scenarios, particularly when fishing in strong currents or pursuing double-figure fish. Its design is optimised for casting heavier feeders, typically weighing between 4 and 5 ounces (113-142 g), allowing for confident and precise placement at longer distances. Constructed from a 30/40 Ton Tensile Carbon material, the Guru N-Gauge Specimen Barbel rod boasts Overcap Progressive Power Action blanks. This progressive action ensures the rod bends throughout its length, generating increasing power as it loads, which aids in casting and provides substantial control during the fight with powerful fish. The rod maintains a light and well-balanced feel, contributing to comfort during extended fishing sessions.
