Century Eliminator T800 SGT Rod

Description

The Century Eliminator T800 SGT Rod is a versatile 13' 6" fishing rod designed to cover a wide range of applications. Its SGT tip is notably sensitive, registering the finest indicator bites, while still possessing the backbone to handle conger, hounds, and cod when 5ozs plus a large bait package is required. It performs well as a long distance match rod, with enough tenacity and power to bully fish through weed, and is best described as a relaxed long range casting rod that is easy to use over mixed and smooth ground. The rod incorporates extensive technical research, featuring HPR resin technology, Autoclave Technology, and 45/45 STF (spread tow fabric) to improve AT-T anti-twist. The STF surfaces at the upper butt and lower tip, complementing the Anti-Twist Technology throughout the rod. This material originates from Formula One, where it is used extensively in chassis construction for performance. The tip is built primarily from S-2 unidirectional Super Glass, which offers high tensile strength, compressive strength, and improved impact resistance due to increased silica purity. Combined with Century's HPR resin matrix system and high pressure autoclave curing, the tip delivers slow, easy, non-critical loading and superb indicator bite detection. The rod is fitted with robust yet super light Titanium guides as standard to keep excess weight to a minimum. - Gearbox Design butt and Autoclave Technology - Blank colour: Butt – Spread Tow Fabric.
