Daiwa Crosscast 45 SCW 5000LD QD Reel

Description

The Daiwa Crosscast 45 SCW 5000LD QD Reel is built for serious beach and distance casting, combining a robust construction with smooth, dependable performance. Its Slow Cross Wrap lays line evenly across the spool to reduce friction and improve casting distance, while the QD (Quick Drag) system lets you adjust the drag quickly and precisely. The reel is housed in a rigid DS4 body, rotor, and side plate, which keeps everything stable under load and protects the internal gearing. Inside, the Digigear 2 gearing delivers a smooth, powerful retrieve, and the Infinite Anti-Reverse system ensures solid hooksets with no backplay. The aluminium forged spool is paired with an LC-ABS design to help prevent line slip and aid longer casts, while the Air Rotor keeps the whole setup light and balanced. The aluminium machine-cut handle and T-shape handle knob offer a comfortable, secure grip, and the Twistbuster 2 line roller reduces line twist during the retrieve. A manual bail trip gives you full control when casting, and the metal hip line clip keeps your rig secure during transport. - Slow Cross Wrap - QD Drag - DS4 Body - DS4 Rotor - DS4 Side Plate - Aluminium Forged Spool - Aluminium Machine Cut Handle - T Shape Handle Knob - Twistbuster 2 Line Roller - Digigear 2 - LC-ABS Spool - Air Rotor - Infinite Anti Reverse - Anti-Reverse Lever - Metal Hip Line Clip - Manual Bail Trip
