The Shimano Spheros SW A 20000 PG is a saltwater spinning reel built for anglers who need a tough, reliable set-up without stepping up to Shimano's top-tier models. It suits inshore work and occasional demanding offshore trips, and the larger sizes make a practical choice for travelling or holidaying anglers who want their own tropical set-up. For continuous extreme fishing for very large species such as tuna, GT, grouper or sharks, Shimano's higher-cost models will give better long-term service. The reel centres on an aluminium HAGANE Body, which gives a stiff, impact-resistant housing and limits flexing under load. The HAGANE Gear and X-SHIP combination is enhanced with InfinityDrive to deliver plenty of torque and cranking power, and X-Protect (IPX8) water protection helps keep water out of the important moving parts.
