The Team Vass 230 Unlined Jacket is built on Vass's own Vass-Tex 230 fabric, a lightweight, flexible and quick-drying waterproof material with a minimum 20,000mm hydrostatic head rating to keep driving rain and wind out. Being unlined keeps it compact when stowed away, so it works as a single rain-skin layer in summer or worn over warmer layers once the temperature drops. Vass's Permanent Waterproof Fabric Coating Technology engineers waterproofing into the fabric itself rather than spraying it on top, so no reproofing is needed and performance won't fade after repeated washes. There is also no PTFE chemical repellent finish going back into the water you're fishing. Built-in RDT (Rapid Dissipate Technology) helps move internal body moisture out through the fabric.
