The Team Vass 230 Unlined Jacket is built on Vass's own Vass-Tex 230 fabric, a lightweight, flexible and quick-drying waterproof material with a minimum 20,000mm hydrostatic head rating that keeps driving rain and wind out. Because it is unlined, it packs down compactly when stowed, making it suitable as a single rain-skin layer in summer or worn over warmer layers in colder conditions. Vass's Permanent Waterproof Fabric Coating Technology builds the waterproofing into the fabric itself rather than applying it as a surface spray, so no reproofing is needed and performance does not fade after repeated washes. The fabric also avoids a PTFE chemical repellent finish. Built-in RDT (Rapid Dissipate Technology) helps move internal body moisture out through the fabric.
