Avid Ascent 10ft Retractable Carp Rod

Description

The Avid Carp Ascent 10ft Retractable Carp Rod is built on a high-modulus carbon fibre blank that delivers crisp responsiveness, a progressive fish-playing curve and dependable power from tip to butt. Multi-directional carbon cloth in the blank helps maintain straight tracking under compression for improved casting accuracy and control, while a 1K carbon wrap adds stability and strength without adding weight, keeping the rod light, responsive and precise. The rod is fitted with Anti-Tangle XTG Sea-Guide rings with high-quality LS zirconia inserts, giving smooth, friction-free casting and improved fish control, and making it well suited to braid users. A black 18 mm XDPS Sea-Guide reel seat and understated graphics with premium fittings complete a clean, refined finish. The full-length Japanese shrink-wrap handle features a subtle flare grip and a rounded butt cap for comfort and control, and 1ft blank markers are included. - Guide configuration: 10ft models feature 40mm-16mm guides; 12ft and 13ft models feature 50mm-16mm guides - Available models: 10ft 3lb (Retractable), 10ft 3.5lb (Retractable), 10ft 3lb, 10ft 3.5lb, 12ft 3lb, 12ft 3.25lb, 12ft 3.5lb, 12ft 3.75lb, 12ft 4lb, 13ft 3.75lb, 13ft 4lb, plus dedicated 5.5lb Spod rods in both 12ft and 13ft versions
