Avid Ascent Carp Rod

Description

The Avid Carp Ascent Carp Rod is built on high-modulus carbon fibre blanks that deliver crisp responsiveness, a progressive fish-playing curve, and dependable power from tip to butt. Multi-directional carbon cloth in the blank helps maintain straight tracking under compression for improved casting accuracy and control, while a 1K carbon wrap enhances blank stability and strength without adding unnecessary weight, keeping the rod responsive and precise. The rod is fitted with Anti-Tangle XTG Sea-Guide rings with high-quality LS zirconia inserts for smooth, friction-free casting and improved fish control, making it well suited to braid users. It also features a black 18 mm XDPS Sea-Guide reel seat, understated graphics, and premium fittings for a clean, refined finish. A full-length Japanese shrink-wrap handle with a subtle flare grip and rounded butt cap adds comfort and control, and 1ft blank markers are included. - Guide configuration: 10ft models feature 40mm-16mm guides; 12ft and 13ft models feature 50mm-16mm guides - Available models: 10ft 3lb (Retractable) - Available models: 10ft 3.5lb (Retractable) - Available models: 10ft 3lb - Available models: 10ft 3.5lb - Available models: 12ft 3lb - Available models: 12ft 3.25lb - Available models: 12ft 3.5lb - Available models: 12ft 3.75lb - Available models: 12ft 4lb - Available models: 13ft 3.75lb - Available models: 13ft 4lb - Available models: dedicated 5.5lb Spod rods in both 12ft and 13ft versions
