The Patagonia Men's R2 TechFace Pants are a breathable, lined midlayer with reinforced surfaces, built for cold-weather and cold-water fishing. Worn under waders and bibs they provide underwater insulation, and they also work as a comfortable, water-resistant outer layer on their own before, during or after a day on the water. The high-loft double-weave fabric is soft next to the skin without trapping moisture, while the durable face carries a DWR (durable water repellent) finish to shed moisture. Overlays on the thighs and seat add durability and resist pilling where waders abrade the pants, and these overlays are also treated with a DWR finish. Nonbulky cuffs fit easily over or under socks for a snug fit under waders. Two zippered thigh pockets keep essentials close, and an accessory loop on the right waistband holds hemos or nippers.
