The MAP Extremis Feeder Rod is an all-out feeder series, the culmination of in-depth development to create a range of rods that cover all feeder eventualities. Extremis takes many of the performance characteristics from MAP's top-end rods and puts them in a package at an accessible price. Within the range there are standard and SUV models, with SUV standing for Stepped Up Version, offering 20% more power through the butt and middle to deal with bigger casts and bigger fish, but without sacrificing bite detection. There are also three distance feeder models, aimed at situations where 100m casts are the norm, or where a longer rod will be an advantage, such as on powerful rivers. Each rod features super-light American Tackle Ti guides that work seamlessly with the blank and encourage maximum line flow on the cast. Durable screw reel seats and MAP's trademark, super-grippy PU handle material add to the performance levels.
